LA MIRAGE HOTEL & SPA

Perched on an Andean hillside north of Quito, La Mirage is a contemporary inn built to look like a old hacienda. Its 22 luxurious rooms, formal gardens, separate lounge, chapel, and dining areas are incredible. The furnishings at La Mirage are an eclectic blend of local and European pieces, all distinctive, yet cozy. There are fireplaces in most rooms. Staff, dressed in native Otavalo garb, come by after dark and light a welcome fire to warm the chilly Andean evening. Extensive grounds invite long strolls. Bird feeders placed throughout the gardens give guests the opportunity to observe more than six different species of hummingbird.

La Mirage is an outstanding inn that we recommend to all our clients. This tour can be for accommodation only or in conjunction with a two or three day tour to the beautiful Otavalo region.
