Transfer from Punta Arenas to Patagonia Camp.
From Punta Arenas, we’ll pass through Patagonian steppe, a wide-open, vast territory where it is possible to view regional birds such as the Darwin’s Rhea and the Upland Goose.
Along the way we will stop at the Estancia El Palenque, where guests can take part in the preparation of a Magellanic lamb barbecue and learn about Patagonia traditions and the activities of a typical Patagonian ranch.
Arrive at Patagonia Camp in the afternoon.
Following breakfast begin a half-day hike to Salto del Toro, a beautiful waterfall that embodies the magic of Patagonia nature. This hike provides an excellent introduction to Torres del Paine.
Following lunch, take an afternoon trek to Laguna Bonita.
This easy trail begins at the Patagonia Camp and continues along the lake Laguna Bonita, whose dark, calm waters provide an astonishing reflection of the snow-capped peaks and beech forests that surround the Patagonia Camp.

Following breakfast, this full-day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park will take you to the park’s main attractions and lookout points to view and photograph the mountains and lakes that have made this park famous worldwide.
The excursion begins at the Mirador del Toro, a lookout point with a spectacular view of Lake Toro and the Paine Massif, and continues to the Grey sector where you will cross a hanging bridge over the Pingo River and arrive at the Grey beach, to view the electric blue icebergs that have broken off of Glacier Grey. The excursion then carries on to the Salto Grande and a short trek to the Mirador Cuernos, a lookout point with up-close and direct views of the Paine Massif.

Following breakfast head to the Las Torres sector for the trailhead for one of the most spectacular trek in Torres del Paine National Park, the trek to the Base of the Towers (alternative 1). For guests who do not wish to take part in this hike, continue to Laguna Azul (alternative 2).
Before arriving at the Torres sector, stop briefly at the Nordenskjöld lookout point to enjoy the incredible views of the French Valley, the Horns, and the Paine Massif.
Alternative 1
Trekking to the Towers begins at the entrance to the lovely Valley of the River Ascencio; from here climb up the trail for 45 minutes, enjoying dramatic views of the valley. The trail continues through beech forest and finally reaches a glacial moraine, which presents the most difficult part of the trail. The reward for the climb up the moraine however is the spectacular view of the granite tower formations that give the park its name.
Alternative 2
Take part in an enjoyable trek along the northern shore of the beautiful Laguna Azul. From this vantage point enjoy spectacular and direct views of the Towers. This excursion is ideal for enjoying the park’s native forests and regional fauna.
