Arrival to Balmaceda airport. Crossing by Austral Road. This route has only been open for a few years and thanks to it, this southern region and the rest of the long continental part of the country, were united by road. We will travel through unspoilt countryside in this southern part of Chile that has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve. Once in Puyuhuapi we shall take a 15 minute boat ride, which will leave us at the Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. Dinner included. Overnight.
Morning free to enjoy the hotel’s comfortable facilities and to enjoy the open-air thermal pools. The spectacular spa is also at your disposal, where you will find a large hydro-massage pool, jacuzzis with hot sea water or with thermal waters at pleasant temperatures, a steam shower or river water shower which will give you your deserved relaxation. In the afternoon we invite you to take a walk through the rainforest identifying the local flora. Dinner included. Overnight.

If you so desire you may accompany us to haul in the nets where we usually catch conger eels, róbalo and other fish. At 10.15 hrs. we will visit Puerto Puyuhuapi and particularly its hand made carpet factory and then we will proceed to the Queulat National Park where, weather permitting, we will be able to admire the impressive hanging glacier. The afternoon is a leisure when you may hire a motor- or rowing boat, kayak, canoe, windsurf or water-skis or try your luck fishing. Dinner included. Overnight.
Early morning departure by boat from the hotel, and then by road to begin the return journey along the Austral Highway to Coyhaique, where we will stop for lunch and then Balmaceda where you will board your departure flight.
